We invite you to join us and ICTC for a special French Tech event on March 8, 2023, to celebrate International Women's Day at Clearly headquarters (401 West Georgia St) from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

In order to create mutual recognition of French and Canadian policies and actions for female founders, French Tech in Canada worked on a report for present French and Canadian organizations supporting female entrepreneurship and women in STEM.

The report will be published simultaneously on 8 March in Paris (17:00 CET), Montreal, Toronto (11:00 EST), and Vancouver (08:00 PST).

More than 25 incubators, VCs, BAs, companies and startups from France and Canada participated and presented their programs and their vision to improve parity in their ecosystem, including BDC, HVAC, Startup Canada, WEKH, The Forum, Spring Activator, ICTC, Willa, We are Sista, France Invest, 50 in Tech, Women Business Angels, and more.

We are going launch the first France - Canada network for organizations that support women founders and women in technology! This network will allow them to meet and connect to better welcome women entrepreneurs and foster more diverse and inclusive innovation ecosystems.

On the program:

  • 7:30 - 8:00: Welcome of members
  • 8:00 - 8:20: Publication of the report
  • 8:20 - 8:50: Panel discussion (Davina MacPhail, Anna Chan, Gretchen Ferguson, and Alexandra Cutean)
