Understanding the Challenges

These discussion tables offer a space for exchange and sharing experiences, where you can discuss the specific obstacles you are facing. The aim is to stimulate constructive discussions and inspire concrete actions in order to to understand the challenges and create a more inclusive and equitable professional environment for everyone. We have the support of Consulate General of France in Vancouver as part of this initiative.

We're going to look at what's driving pay gaps and find ways to promote fair pay for all.

Perspectives on minority women

Towards Diversity

We are going to discuss discrimination, stereotypes and ensuring equitable access to professional opportunities for all women.

Discussions about career progression

Launching Women's Careers

We seek to understand the challenges and opportunities associated with advancing women's careers, including through professional development, leadership, and empowerment.

The Program

Presentation of main issues related to gender equality in the workplace, including the wage gap, specific barriers faced by minority women, and opportunities for career progression
Sharing statistics and reviewing the history of women's rights in Canada
Interactive discussions with participants, sharing experiences and exchanging points of view
Small group discussions then sharing on specific issues allowing for a more focused and rewarding exchange of ideas
Question and answer session to deepen the topics covered and explore possible solutions

Contribute to the survey

Testimonies and analyses from our 4 discussion tables.
Data collected through a detailed questionnaire addressed to women in our community.
Concrete recommendations for organizations in the region, in order to promote greater integration of women and gender equality in the workplace.
The measures that we will apply within the Circle, such as discounts on membership prices for women who want to join us.

2024 Women's Leadership Award

France Executive Circle is proud to announce the launch of the 2024 Women's Leadership Award, an initiative aimed at recognize and celebrate female leadership in the business world of Western Canada. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to promote gender equality and support women's career advancement.
The Women's Leadership Award will be awarded in Next fall to a female leader or entrepreneur and it aims to highlight the achievements of women in business and to inspire future generations.
